Flexible Graphite Gasket material - for cutting gaskets.

Flexible Graphite products are ideal for sealing those difficult high temperature applications, chemical applications, and low bolt load applications. Nothing seals as well as flexible graphite sheet.

FGS 3 (SWGHE) - has a .004" thick stainless steel tanged insert to improve handleability. Because the tang verson of this sheet does not require as much adhesive, it will gas off less than the SS foil insert version.

It is a unique material in that is also has a wide range of temperature capabilities.Flexible graphite can withstand up to 5,400 F as long as oxygen is not present. At 850 F and above it′s a sliding scale. In reduced oxygen atmosphere such as steam, flexible graphite will handle 1200F.
